Heavy-Duty Handcrafted Irish Butcher Block

Elevate your kitchen prep with the Moat & Grain Barrowstone Large Beech & Walnut Butcher Block. Handcrafted in Co. Kildare, Ireland, this heavy-duty chopping board is built for peak culinary performance. Designed as a versatile workstation, it seamlessly transitions from heavy-duty meal prep and carving roasts to serving as a striking charcuterie presentation platter when hosting up to 10 guests.

Sustainably Sourced Hardwood Construction

The Barrowstone board combines the dense strength of European Steamed Beech with the rich, chocolate-brown elegance of American Black Walnut. This sustainable hardwood blend creates a naturally hygienic, knife-friendly surface that keeps your chef blades sharp while resisting warping. Each board is gently warmed to relax the wood fibres before being hand-finished with two coats of our signature food-safe Board Butter.

Care Instructions

All of our handmade trophies are made to impress & made to last. Other than the occasional dusting and admiring, there is very little you need to do.

Sunlight can break down the lustre in the wood over time. This can be reinvigorated with board butter. Simply apply, allow to soak in, the buff the excess. Thats it.
