FAQ: Wooden Chopping & Serving Boards

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about Saw Swag wooden boards, care, delivery and ordering in Ireland.

Where are Saw Swag boards made?

Our small-batch chopping, serving and charcuterie boards are handcrafted in our workshop outside Athy, Co. Kildare, Ireland.

What are Saw Swag boards finished with?

Our wooden boards are finished with food-safe mineral oil and board butter. Product pages show the timber, finish, dimensions and edge profile for each piece.

Are wooden chopping boards dishwasher safe?

No. Do not put a wooden board in the dishwasher or leave it submerged in water. Hand-wash with warm, soapy water, wipe away excess moisture and let it dry standing upright.

How often should I oil a wooden board?

Condition the board with food-safe mineral oil or board butter when the wood looks dry. Frequency depends on use and washing.

Are wooden boards suitable as wedding or anniversary gifts?

Yes. A solid wooden board is a useful, lasting wedding, anniversary or housewarming gift that can be used every day.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery in Ireland typically takes 3–5 business days. Order confirmation and tracking details are sent once an order ships.

What is your returns policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of purchase for unused items in their original packaging. See the refund policy for full details.
